Story

Hello, my name is Jamison. My Tourettes syndrome has made it challenging for me to carry out daily activities, and I believe a service dog would provide me with the necessary support to manage my symptoms effectively. With a service dog, I can have more independence and feel more confident in my ability to cope with my condition. I'm seeking help to fundraise for a service dog.

I've been battling Tourette's, and I'm hoping a service dog can help me move forward with my future. My goal is to have a service dog help me gain more independence as I move on to college in the fall of 2023. I believe a service dog could assist me by performing the following tasks: deep pressure therapy, passing out response, guide, retrieval, blocking, and orbit. I have researched extensively on the training and care of service dogs, and I am willing to put in the time, effort, and resources required to ensure that my service dog is well-trained and cared for. Additionally, I have already started saving up for the cost of acquiring a service dog from a reputable organization.

Additionally, I was diagnosed with Tourette's syndrome in the fall of 2022, and it's been an uphill battle ever since. The symptoms of Tourettes syndrome can be unpredictable and challenging to manage, but having a service dog could provide a sense of comfort and stability during those difficult moments. With the help of a trained service dog, I hope to improve my quality of life and better manage my condition.

It turns out my episode from earlier came back and was a lot stronger. I was ticing so much that I felt like I was losing my balance and becoming lightheaded. Then, when we finally sat down, I, according to my friend, finally passed out. I ended up passing out during the awards, which lasted three hours. I experienced side effects from this episode for two days after the initial episode.

Fundraising Goal Breakdown:

$800 (Cost of the puppy)

$6,000 (Training)

$1,135 - $5,155 (Average cost of owning a dog)

Total: $10,000+
