Story

The future of the equine industry lies in the hands, hearts, and minds of our youth! A Spot for The Future has been established to create an investment in the future of the Appaloosa Horse Club, the future of the equine industry, and support our youth membership through their transition to successful young adults and future industry leaders.

A Spot for The Future has a goal to perpetually incentivize our Youth ApHC members to get out there and enjoy their appaloosas, by showing at the national or regional level, and support networking and a great sense of community. Your support of A Spot for the Future, through purchasing a t-shirt or a direct donation will help our independent 501(c)3 Board of Directors plan the budget for the first scholarship allocations starting this year, 2024!

Our goal is to award the first scholarship to the World Champion in each class at the Youth World Championship, a second will be awarded to a random draw excluding the World Champion from each class, and a third scholarship will be awarded to the Year End High Point from each nationally pointed class.
