Story

The North Bullitt Bean Flyers began to fulfill two needs: teach our students job skills and help our students be included in their school and community. The Bean Flyers make and deliver coffee, hot chocolate, and lattes to our North Bullitt teachers and staff each Friday for $2 ($3 for craft lattes).

Each student has the opportunity to practice different vocational skills according to their ability level (e.g., stamping coffee sleeves, making coffee, counting money, delivering coffee, etc.). We have been delivering coffee and smiles all over NBHS and would like to continue to further our mission of including students with disabilities in their communities. We are raising money for our Best Buddies club to fund a field day and other activities for our North Bullitt and Zoneton MSD students. Our Flyers have worked super hard this year and thank you for your support!
