Reid Presnell Memorial Fund

Story

Hello Reid P. friends and family! My name is Eric Joldersma, and I am part of this community because Reid said so. He, upon moving to Michigan, declared we would be friends and, being Reid the wise and impossibly lovable...he was spot-on. And I'm so grateful. As most of you know, Reid did friendship (and life) correctly: eyes ALWAYS outward, looking for ways to encourage, to laugh, to hug, to advise, to help...to love. 

I am wondering if we, as a community, could try to emulate that Reid-like love in caring for his wife, Angie. In regards to this letter, loving her financially. Family helps family! Helping each other is what we're called to do. And sometimes love really does come in the form of a check. Jesus agreed, I asked Him. :)

I'm putting $33k as a goal. My hope is that we could cover funeral costs, medical bills and with any overage, to try to knock out her car loan. How great would that be?! Lighten her load some and let her know she is loved, seen, and cared for? I'm using CauseTeam, a trusted friend's company, since 100% of cash donations will go directly to Angie, minus credit card fees. (Go Fund Me charges 3%).  If you choose to buy anything, 40% of each purchase is also donated to Angie.
