Damon suffered a devastating 15-foot fall that resulted in a severely broken wrist, a skull fracture, and a traumatic brain injury with a brain bleed. Shortly after, he developed compartment syndrome in his arm, requiring a total of four surgeries in just six days.
While Damon is now home with a wound vac, his recovery is expected to be long and challenging. Doctors are unsure how long he will be unable to work, creating additional financial stress as the owner of a small business.

Damon had a follow up CT scan which showed his brain bleed is completely stable and stopped, as well as that his skull fracture is slowly healing as best as we could hope for!
However, we were finally allowed to change the dressing on his skin graft site on his leg, and upon rinsing it with water, he wound up in severe pain.
We are now trying to control his pain again, but it appears everything is healing nicely and we are on the right track to recovery!

As of 8/10, Damon's wound vac has been removed, as well as the staples that were in his arm! This is a good step in the right direction for recovery!
He also started PT last week and has already begun showing improvements in his mobility!
