Story
Last year, My mom, Sally Evans, was diagnosed with T cell Prolymphocytic Leukemia, a very rare and aggressive form of cancer. Because of how uncommon this disease is, her specialist is located in Seattle at Fred Hutch, requiring ongoing travel and extended time away from home.
Since her diagnosis, Sally has been undergoing chemotherapy three days a week, and by the grace of God, she has surpassed every expectation her doctors had. We are so incredibly grateful for the strength she has shown and the progress she has made. Praise God for every victory along the way.
But her journey is far from over.
Sally is now preparing for a stem cell transplant, a critical next step in her treatment. This procedure will require her to stay in Seattle for approximately for 3-4 months. During that time, Sally and Christopher will face not only the emotional toll of her treatment, but also significant medical, travel, lodging, and day-to-day living expenses.
We are starting this fundraiser to help:
-
Offset mounting medical expenses
-
Assist with travel and lodging costs in Seattle
-
Support Christopher while Sally is hospitalized
-
Relieve some of the financial burden so our family can focus fully on Sally’s healing
We are also offering these shirts as a small token of hope. Something you can wear in support of Sally and her courageous fight. Every shirt purchased and every donation made is a reminder that she is not fighting alone.
Thank you for your prayers, encouragement, and generosity. Your support means more than we can ever express.
