Story
Imagine walking a mile carrying a bucket of water just to meet your family's basic needs.
For many of us, clean water is something we rarely think about. We turn on a faucet, fill a glass, take a shower, and move on with our day. But for many families in rural Tanzania, accessing water can require a long daily journey.
That's why I'm proud to support the Tanzania Water Fund.
Since 2018, our annual fundraising efforts, including Pull-Ups for Tanzania and the Walk for Water, have helped bring access to clean water to more than 200,000 people across 70 villages in Tanzania's Singida Region.
My connection to this mission began during a study program in East Africa, where I learned firsthand that water is the foundation for everything else. Education, healthcare, economic development, and opportunity all depend on reliable access to clean water.
Today, we're continuing that work by partnering with local leaders and communities to fund sustainable water projects that create lasting impact.
There are several ways to get involved:
Walk for Water – Carry a bucket of water and walk one mile to experience, in a small way, the challenge many people face every day.
Pull-Ups for Tanzania – Challenge yourself physically while raising awareness and support for clean water. Pull-ups are hard. Living without clean water is harder.
Lead a Team or Volunteer Group – Gather coworkers, friends, students, teammates, or family members and make an impact together.
Every donation, every participant, and every conversation helps bring us one step closer to a world where everyone has access to clean water.
Water changes everything. Join us and be part of the ripple effect.
